Quality & Compliance
Vital Med Tek Inc. distributes previously owned and surplus medical equipment sourced from hospitals, healthcare facilities, and authorized suppliers. Our internal procedures are designed to evaluate equipment prior to sale and to provide customers with reasonable information regarding device condition.


Regulatory Compliance
The sale of certain medical devices may be subject to regulation by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and applicable state and local authorities. Vital Med Tek Inc. may verify purchaser eligibility where required by law. Purchasers are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations governing the purchase, installation, and use of medical devices in their jurisdiction.
Equipment Inspection
Prior to listing or shipment, equipment may undergo basic functional inspection intended to confirm operational status at the time of evaluation. Depending on the device type, this may include:

Power-on verification

Basic functional operation check

Image display verification for imaging systems

Cable and connector inspection

Visual inspection of housings and components

Verification of model and serial number identification

Condition Representation
Equipment condition descriptions are provided based on inspection observations at the time of evaluation and represent our best knowledge at the time of sale. Unless otherwise stated in writing, devices are not represented as new, factory-refurbished, or manufacturer-certified.

Data Handling
Where applicable, storage media accessible during evaluation may be cleared of visible data prior to resale. However, purchasers are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable privacy and data security requirements prior to clinical use.

Installation and Use
Medical equipment should be installed, tested, and maintained by qualified biomedical personnel prior to clinical operation. Vital Med Tek Inc. recommends that all equipment undergo inspection and verification by the purchaser or their designated service provider before being placed into service.

Purchaser Responsibility
By purchasing equipment, the buyer acknowledges responsibility for verifying suitability, regulatory compliance, installation, and operational safety within their facility or jurisdiction.
